We are running a focus group to help us to understand some of the difficulties which might be faced by teachers running classes on death and dying. The focus group will ask simple questions relating to this, and we will invite your input via small discussion groups, each chaired by a CEDAR volunteer. Better knowledge of the problems of discussing death will help us to develop and provide resources to make lessons easier and more approachable for staff and pupils alike.
If you are or have been involved in education (even if you are now retired) and would be willing to spare us a couple of hours on Friday 28th April 23, 1 – 3pm at University Centre, Shrewsbury, Guildhall, SY3 8HQ we would love to talk to you. The focus group is free, refreshments are provided. Please book here https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/focus-group-tickets-609721442247
If you can’t make the 28th April or live outside the Shrewsbury area, we will be holding another event via Microsoft Teams (date to be confirmed) – if you would like to attend virtually do please let us know.
